Our Silver Jubilee picnic

On 8 August, we hosted our Silver Jubilee picnic and dancing event around the Bandstand in Roberts Park.

Trip to Hull

Saturday 15th August we were in Hull at the invitation of Rackaback Morris. It was a great day out -sunny weather and good company (there were about 14 different Morris sides dancing ).We danced in the old town and managed to get a quick look inside the wonderful Holy Trinity Church, and then on the Marina, ending up with all the teams gathering in Queens Gardens. The Hull side had managed to get all teams a free lunch which was very much appreciated! The sun brings out the best in us so the dancing went well and we all enjoyed the day!

Rainbow Morris Silver Jubilee Picnic, Saturday 8 August 2015

On a glorious sunny day, we spent the afternoon dancing with Morris friends by the bandstand in Roberts Park, to celebrate 25 years of dancing. Silver balloons and Jammy Dodgers added to the party atmosphere, and a collection raised funds for the Shipley Resource Centre where we practise. The Rainbow Festival Scarf Dance, and a mass Plymouth Reel rounded off a perfect afternoon.
