6 June – Kern Day of Dance, Durham

6 dancers, our musician and Ned, the dog, met up to dance in the morning in Millennium Square, along with other teams. After lunch in the John Duck we went to the Market Square and joined Kern Morris (our Durham host team). There was an appreciative audience and the day ended with dancing in the Palace Gardens in front of the awe inspiring Cathedral. Durham is such an interesting city to visit and we had chance to look around the old Market Hall, and see the quaint streets as we walked up to the cathedral chatting with other dancers. People were very friendly and a great day out was had by all.
