Saltaire Day of Dance 2018

Rainbow Morris had a full day of dancing on Saturday when we took part in the Saltaire Day of Dance in the morning and then joined Acorn Morris to help them celebrate their 40th Birthday.

For the Day of Dance, we ran a Workshop to teach our dance Tingley, which our workshop attendees learnt quickly, despite the challenges of the tricky ‘rant’ step. The session finished with an outdoor performance in front of the Victoria Hall. Thanks to Judith for teaching the dance.

We then joined Acorn Morris for a trip up Shipley Glen on the tramway for some lunch and dancing at the Old Glen pub, followed by a return trip down the Glen to finish with dancing by the Church.

Many congratulations to Acorn on their first 40 years and hopefully many more years to come.
